E cigarette Liquid replacement ?

My grandmother is a heavy smoker and she bought those e cigarettes and let me and my cousin try them (the nicotine was gone out of the cartridges) and I asked her to et me some and she said yes I'd you an get the nicotine out of them…. So I got one and I don't know what replacement for nicotine I can put In it. Will water work. ? A guy said vanilla extract+ water did it for him what should I do ?

Yes, water or water plus vanilla extract will work, but there's no-telling what it will do to the atomizer (the heating element that vaporizes the liquid) or the battery (should your liquid leak out of the cartridge).

If you are going to be using an electronic cigarette regularly, I would suggest that you purchase a kit that will provide you with a selection of flavors as well as zero nicotine cartridges. If the main reason you'd like to try a liquid diet is to lose weight, the best advice is: don't. You body NEEDS solid food in order to keep itself healthy. It's not natural to eat only liquid. The only exception is if there is a physical handicap that inhibits the ability to eat solid food.

In either case, the best stuff to drink is anything that has a neutral or alkaline (the opposite of acidic) pH. Wheat grass, vegetables, soy, protein shakes and fruit are your best bet. Where I live, wheat grass and soy are easily accessible, but this might not be the case in all societies. Just google "alkaline foods" for a longer list of neutral or alkaline foods.

Humans' bodies have a natural pH just higher (more basic) than water (pH 7). When your body has a balanced pH, your immune system and other body systems are in top condition. It's like having an engine that is at the right temperature for ideal performance- not too cold, not too hot. When your "engine" is at its ideal "temperature" it can break down sugars and metabolize at the most ideal rate to get rid of excess fat. That's why eating a balanced diet of acidic and alkaline food is the best way to diet. Keep in mind that "alkaline" and "acidic" does not refer the food itself, but how the food effects your body. For example, oranges and lemons are obviously acidic, but when you eat them they have an alkaline effect on your body.

There is only one way to lose weight effectively and stay healthy: a balanced (pH) diet and exercise. This is the method that has worked for thousands of years and it is the only practical method to lose weight. Eat less calories than you expend in a day and get your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes every other day. Some especially helpful alkaline food for losing weight are: melons, carrots, cucumbers, wheat grass, green tea. Some especially harmful consumable are: cigarettes, coffee, processed sugar (as opposed to raw cane sugar, which normally can be found only at health food stores), corn, corn syrup, non-whole-wheat breads/ crackers.

The main problem with liquid diets is that, unlike developing healthy eating habits, they're not sustainable. Even for those who do have some success with liquid diets, you can't do them forever. It actually takes more discipline to stick to liquid diets than it does to eat regular food, but a controlled amount of it. If you do follow a liquid diet, once you are done, you still have to start eating a healthy, balanced diet. So why not start from there in the first place?

I know it's difficult to find an easy answer to losing weight. But by making step by step lifestyle changes, eating right and exercising become first nature. It becomes more natural than brushing your teeth or using the bathroom. I know because I grew up on hamburger helper and mac'n cheese. Throughout my childhood and even today, I've been watching my mom struggle with her weight. Staying fit has been not just a goal, but a decision that I made for myself when I was just a little girl. I never wanted to have to go through what my mom goes through. It's not easy breaking through childhood habits. But being fat isn't either.
